Joshua's First Week of School

This past week Joshua started his first week of school. He goes twice a week and he seems to enjoy it once he is there. He fusses when I drop him off but quits before I even leave the building. His teacher has been great about sending me updates and pictures during the day to ease my mind.

One year ago today in our hotel room in Nanchang, China we were brought a tiny 1 almost 2 year old. He weighed only 20 pounds and was in 12 months clothes at almost 2 years old.

He has come a long way in his first year at home. He has had several surgeries and dealt with many changes a long the way.

We love you Big Boy!!!! Happy Gotcha Day!!!!

End of the School Year and Dance!

Last week was a very busy week for the Jones Clan. Thursday night was the twins end of the year program and K5 Graduation. I can't believe that John and Elizabeth are old enough to graduate from kindergarten.

Then on Friday night the girls had practice for their dance recital that was Saturday evening. Needless to say we were all tired by the end of the weekend.

Fun Day at School!

This week is the twins last week of school so today they had a fun day. First they did create-a-critter which is like Build a Bear. This year their class made giraffe's and Mrs.Denise read them a story to go along with them.

After they finished their critters they got to have a bike day for the rest of the day. All of the kids brought their bikes or scooters from home to ride in the parking lot of the school. Both twins came home tired and a little burnt but they had a fun day.
